Opus Fine Art is proud to be showing for the first time at the London Art Fair in the Business Design Centre, Islington. This art fair will run from 18 – 22 January, 2012.

The London Art Fair presents over 100 galleries featuring the great names of 20th Century British art and exceptional contemporary work from leading figures and emerging talent. Visit us at stand G35 in the main fair where we will be showcasing original works from emerging artists including Vasilis Avramidis, Kim Baker, Tanja Boukal, Rachel Louise Brown, Michele Fletcher, Hector de Gregorio, Carne Griffiths, Hush, Ali Miller and Karl de Vroomen.

Now entering its 24th year, London Art Fair is the UK’s largest Modern British and contemporary art fair. Established in 1988, the Fair encompasses over 100 rigorously selected galleries presenting Modern British and international contemporary art. Attracting over 24,000 visitors, London Art Fair gives galleries the opportunity to renew relationships with existing clients and develop significant new contacts early in the New Year. Visitors include major collectors and representatives from public and private institutions such as museums, galleries and corporate collections, together with well-informed individuals who buy regularly from the Fair. We are thrilled to announce a new Fresh Cream exhibition at our Newcastle gallery. Fresh Cream will celebrate new painting, sculpture, photography and print from the crème de la crème of emerging contemporary artists. Artists included in Fresh Cream will be hand-picked recent graduates from established art institutions such as Goldsmiths, Central St Martin’s and the Royal College of Art.

Fresh Cream promises to be a very eclectic exhibition incorporating photography, mixed media and painting, abstract and figurative work. The common thread is the sheer quality of art on show all of which will be very well priced. Who knows, collectors may be buying work from the next Damien Hirst!

Some of the artists who will be featured in this new Fresh Cream exhibition are Vasilis Avramidis, Rachel Louise Brown, Tintin Cooper, Michele Fletcher, Yao Hui, Tony Hull, Joanna Hutton, Vasilios Paspalis, Suzie Smith, Charlotte Stubbs and Ben Walker.
