Rosie Emerson | The Moon Is No Door 16th Aug - 16th Sep 14

The Moon Is No Door brings together a new collection of cyanotypes by London-based artist Rosie Emerson. In this new body of work Emerson continues to draw reference from archetypes old and new, from Artemis to the modern day supermodel. Emerson is well known for being unrestrained in her technique and often experiments with using costume, intricate props, dramatic lighting, and playful collage to elevate her subjects to otherworldly, goddess-like status. She has drawn inspiration from Sylvia Plath’s poem The Moon and The Yew Tree to create these beautiful new works.

Darren Baker | Albert the Handydog 2nd - 9th Aug 14

Since his official portrait of Her Majesty The Queen was unveiled in 2011, Royal artist Darren Baker has been tirelessly fundraising for a charitable organisation very close to his heart - The Prince’s Trust. Now, displaying his talent for the first time as a masterful illustrator, Darren Baker has created an incredible collection of captivating artwork for Albert The Handydog, a heartwarming children’s book for 8-12 year olds.
