Lv Shun

Lv Shun graduated from the photography department of Beijing Movie Institute in 1994, and has since shown in many exhibitions in his native country. Shun was also featured in The Recorded Movie, part of 2005’s Movie Festival of France. This gained the artist admiration for his work in what is perhaps the core of photography and movie culture of the world.

Shun now creates oil on canvas paintings, although his photography roots remain evident through his ability to create a hyper-realism in his beautiful landscape images which appear almost jewelled, seeming to stretch far beneath the surface of the canvas.

Other Chinese Contemporary artists exhibiting with Opus include Bai Tao, Shi LiFeng, Chen QuiChi, Liu XinTao, Han XuCheng, Shu Yong, Jin Yu, Piao GuangXie and Wang ZhiJie.
