Kimi Weart

Kimi Weart wants to make it okay to believe, her drawings appear as sketches or snapshots, representing a place where expected reality and deeper reality coincide. The images offer us little information yet there is a resonance that something is happening or indeed has already happened.

Weart has a close connection with her work and her use of drawing ensures there are few boundaries between the piece itself  and the concept. Her works are rarely finished as they exist in a world outside of their own objecthood and instead may erupt forth into being.  

Weart studied in New York and has taken part in many group shows across USA and Canada.
