Ink and junkmail collage on paper
Signed by artist.
Aurora Robson was born in Toronto, Canada. She studied Art History and Visual Art at Columbia University, alongside training in welding. Robson’s art has undertones of nightmares, although with a positive outcome – the artist established her name for her transformation of discarded waste into immortally beautiful visions. This unusual craft won the artist significant recognition, including features in The New York Times and Wonderland magazine, and exhibitions at numerous prominent New York and Chicago galleries.
Aurora’s work has become highly collectable, perhaps unsurprisingly for an artist with such an inspired philosophy; in her own words, Robson believes ‘art is about recognizing and embracing new possibilities and encouraging others to do the same’.
